A native of Danville, Pa., Craig Deihl is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Charleston. Deihl trained for nearly five years under Donald Barickman, founding chef of Charleston's famous Magnolias, Blossom and Cypress restaurants. Honored by Esquire magazine as one of 2001's Best New Restauranteurs. Cypress recently received the DiRoNA award. Deihl is the author of the Cypress cookbook.
