BB&T Charleston Food + Wine Festival

Dan Fairris is the United States Trade Representative for the Chamber of Commerce Alto Adige Italy. He is responsible for the International Trade division of the Chamber here in the U.S., specifically a group of agricultural producers making wine, cheese and Speck. It is his in depth knowledge of the wine, culture and traditions of this tiny and unique region of Italy that gives him the expertise to speak about all that is the Alto Adige and specifically the wines from the winery Colterenzio. Dan has been in the food and wine industry since the age of 15, educating consumers on the artesian food and wine products from around the world. He resides in Hillsborough N.C.
